About BOTEPCO
The Botswana Teaching Professionals Council (BOTEPCO), under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, is a regulatory body established by the BOTEPCO Act, No. 22 of 2019. Our primary mandate is to regulate the teaching profession by maintaining high professional and ethical standards, licensing teachers, and maintaining a teacher registry. We advocate for the profession, advise on teacher training, promote continuous professional development, and ensure accountability through fair disciplinary processes.
